ParkFun Plans
I built this little park flyer a while ago and have been having loads of fun with it. It was apparently designed by the father of a friend of mine in Australia.
I have done some modifications to mine which are not on the plans, but here is what I have done:
1. Extended the nose by 2cm.
2. Left the wing tips off.
3. Designed my own battery hatch in the noise. (see pictures. the red one is the one I built and the blue is one built to plan)
Also if I had to build it again I would make the rudder and elevators out of solid balsa, as the plane is light enough to do this. This little plane needs a very short runway and even be taken off from the beach. I run an equivalent of an E-Flite 480 and 2200mah LiPo battery . Get the plane plan here. It is a multilayed PDF.

If you are like me and need a power supply for my battery charger (Swallow Pro) to charge my RC Jet and plane batteries then this is for you. Long ago I bought a power supply from a local supplier and it worked well till now. It’s output is 13V 5 amps, but with the advancement in Lipo’s 5 amps is not ENOUGH. Well here is the answer for charging you RC Hobby batteries… I modified a PC power supply which is simple and quick and it works like a dream. I am told that it can put out around 10-12 amps, but have never tested it. The most I have done is 6 amps.
Here is the instruction manual for the power supply
